About the Role:

This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth and enhance brand visibility for two distinct yet related businesses within the same group: Page Bros (commercial printing and secure examination printing) and Art Angels Publishing (greeting card design and wholesale distribution). The role requires a versatile individual capable of managing diverse marketing activities across B2B and B2C landscapes.

Hours:

36 hours per week
08:45 – 17:00 hrs, Monday to Friday (unpaid 60 minute break)

 

Key Responsibilities

For Page Bros (Commercial & Secure Printing):

  • Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the Page Bros brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and visual representation across all marketing materials.
  • Marketing Collateral Development: Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, case studies, website content, presentations, and email marketing campaigns, targeting specific industry sectors (e.g., education, government, corporate).
  • Digital Marketing: Manage the Page Bros website, optimize for search engines (SEO), and develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (e.g., email marketing, social media marketing, paid advertising).
  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate qualified leads for the sales team, including online and offline activities.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Event Management: Organize and participate in relevant industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Public Relations: Manage media relations and develop press releases to promote Page Bros’ expertise and services.

 

For Art Angels Publishing (Greeting Card Design & Wholesale):

  • Brand Management: Develop and maintain the Art Angels Publishing brand identity, ensuring it resonates with target retailers and consumers.
  • Product Marketing: Support new product launches with effective marketing campaigns, including online and offline promotions.
  • Trade Marketing: Develop and execute trade marketing programs to support sales through retail networks, including point-of-sale materials, trade advertising, and promotional offers.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage Art Angels Publishing’s online presence, including website, social media channels, and online marketplaces.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging content for social media, blog posts, email marketing, and other marketing channels.
  • Retailer Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retailers through regular communication and marketing support.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the greeting card industry.
  • Catalogue Production: Assist in the production and distribution of seasonal catalogues.

 

General Responsibilities (Both Businesses): 

Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets for both businesses effectively.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Track marketing campaign performance and provide regular reports on key metrics.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (sales, design, production) and external vendors (printers, designers, agencies).
  • Staying Up to Date: Keep abreast of the latest marketing trends and technologies.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, ideally with experience in both B2B and B2C marketing.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing software, CMS systems).
  • Experience in content creation and marketing collateral development.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the printing or publishing industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
