We specialise in the production of confidential material in the educational market and a wide array of commercial print, including colour lithographic sheet-fed, digital sheet-fed, digital inkjet web, and a full assortment of binding and finishing styles.

 

Job Description:

We have recently made a significant investment in inkjet technology with inline stitching enabling significant automation and efficiency in the manufacturing of stitched products and other digitally printed materials. We are looking for a Sales Executive that can support growth in this area driving sales of web inkjet printing solutions. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The Sales Executive will work closely with the Sales and Commercial Director, as well as the CEO to develop and implement effective sales strategies. The role will require travel to customer sites, trade shows and industry events.

 

Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development – to identify and pursue new business opportunities with a strong focus on the web inkjet market. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and networking.

Customer Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Conduct regular meetings and presentations to understand customer needs and demonstrate product benefits. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Sales strategy and planning – Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients. Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the Sales Manager.

Product Knowledge and Training – Maintain an in-depth understanding of web inkjet printing solutions and related technologies. Stay updated with industry developments and competitor offerings. Provide product training and support to customers as needed.

Reporting and Documentation – Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance in the CRM system. Prepare regular sales reports for management review.

Technical Knowledge – Understanding of web inkjet printing technology and applications. Ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Sales Skills – Proven track record in sales and business development. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.

Customer Focus – Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills. Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.

Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations.

Organizational Skills – Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Analytical Skills – Ability to analyse market trends and sales data to inform strategies. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the printing or technology industry. Experience with web inkjet printing solutions is highly desirable.

Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
